“We particularly enjoyed the silence, sounds of nature and the colorful garden wall of Bougainville, roses and conifers. We saw Bonelli eagles flying at least onces every day (ones even a griffon vulture!) The villa is modern with rustic details, room are high. The villa is indeed fully equipped for 6 persons. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare quality food, and also the BBQ is fully equipped. We even baked or own bread. We used the Cretan Cookbook in the villa many times (English/German/Dutch). There are also tavernas in de surrounding area. The pool is big enough to swim lanes and there are 6 beds of good quality. For us it was a meditative and relaxing environment. We enjoyed driving the last part uphill, yes it is quit steep but we had no problems. The owner is helpful, generous and friendly. When we arrived there were bottles of water in the fridge, bread to make toast, marmalade, butter and fruit. And of course , raki on the table. This was our second time in Villa Ikaros and again we enjoyed this little paradise very much”

Italian furniture was used for the refined furnishing, while mattresses and pillows of the well-known Coco-Mat quality are used for your restful sleep. The private swimming pool with heated water (additional charge) completes especially comfortable swimming during the winter too, while the BBQ is at your disposal for gourmet nights fitted to your own likes and tastes. The crown jewel of the villa is the magnificent pergola-furnished roof to enjoy the
natural beauty of the landscape, facing a transcendent view that even Icarus would envy.
